Fighting wars has never brought peace on earth, – but when enough people

pray for peace every single day, those with evil intentions will lose their followers

and wars will cease to exist.

What is prayer?

It is the inspiration that brings our thoughts into harmony with God’s laws.  It is the right ideas that come to us when we earnestly seek answers to the things that trouble us.  Prayer is the deep desire for truth that brings us to the understanding of how we should conduct our lives

                             and deal with our problems. 

                             When we provide time to quietly seek God’s inspiration and listen for His voice, we enter an atmosphere of thought that

                             enables us to conceive Divine ideas that greatly improve our lives. 
                            

                             Prayers in the morning seem to make our entire day go better.

                             Islam teaches its followers to pray five times a day.  That gives religious Muslims five times each day to quietly

                             seek God’s direction, listen for His inspiration, and pray for peace.

                             How do we pray for peace?

                             Sometimes silently, sometimes audibly, but always with the deep desire to love others more unselfishly.

                             We pray for peace when we listen daily for God’s direction and oppose those forces that consume our

                             thoughts with anger, fear, belligerence, vengeance or greed, etc.

                             How can our prayers bring peace to the world?

                             Answer:  by presenting those who are filled with anger or motivated by rage,

                             with an alternative voice - the voice of love.        

                             And by presenting the voice of love loudly enough, gently enough and long enough to persuade

                             them to give up their belligerent ways and redirect their life’s energies towards more fruitful objectives. 

                                    We bring peace to the world when we make it our business, together with others, to influence those drowning

                             in their own hatred, to give up their evil ambitions and become advocates for peace. 

                             Only people who truly love others can influence the deeply belligerent to give up their angers and fears,

                             and replace them with love.
