ABOUT US
The “Wings Of
Luv” Foundation (“WOL”) is a
non-profit, non-sectarian religious and charitable foundation. It is not the arm nor the servant of any specific religious denomination, but it is the arm and servant of every religious denomination on earth that teaches their followers to love their fellow man.
It is the arm and servant of every person who inhabits the earth or who will inhabit the earth in the future, who desires to replace the fearful, hurtful and hateful thoughts that diminish their lives, with love.
Making unselfish love a bigger part of our daily lives - making us part of that process - is what “WOL” is all about. Overcoming hatred with love is its "simple
and profound" objective; it embraces no
other agenda.
HOW?
BY TEACHING ALL WHO WILL LISTEN, WAYS OF INVOKING
"LOVE'S LAW OF INEVITABLE ENRICHMENT"
Every time we express unselfish love
towards another human being we invoke "Love's Law" and we become richer inside. “WOL” shows us how to
bring love's laws into our lives every single day!!
We
are all bombarded daily by good and evil suggestions. When we learn to discipline our thought to reject the evil suggestions, imbibing only those thoughts that come to us on the "Wings Of Love", we invoke “Love’s Law Of Inevitable Enrichment” which, by its very nature, must return to us more than was given.
Structure and Formation: On October
14, 2003, “WOL” was chartered as a non-denominational religious and charitable Corporation pursuant to the laws of the State of Nevada, USA. It is governed by its Board Of Trustees.
“WOL” is an
Integrated Auxiliary of the Temple Of The Lost Sheep, Inc. (TOTLS), a 501 (c)(3) organization. TOTLS is a non-profit, non-denominational religious and charitable organization, formed in 1960 in New York City to deal with the ever-expanding homeless
population then appearing on the streets of New York. TOTLS was a pioneer in the field of rehabilitating the homeless, motivating them to help themselves and to permanently remove themselves as residents of the streets of New York. It became known as, the Action Committee to Help the
Homeless Now (the “Action Committee”).
On May 2, 1985, The IRS issued a favorable determination letter advising that 501 (c)(3) status was granted to TOTLS
a/k/a the Action Committee to Help the Homeless Now, and that donors may deduct contributions as provided in Section 170 of the Code.
Although
Christian in origin, from its inception TOTLS always functioned as a
non-denominational, non-profit entity and since 1960 it has provided more
than a million meals and more than 100,000 nights of shelter to homeless men,
women and children from many countries throughout the world, without
concern for their race, color or religious background.
